Moments with meaning

I had long ago extinguished my hope

For collision of souls

To hold in one's arms

I made a lone empire

Proud and stoic

safe and warm

But in a moment

So kind and pure

The flame flickered just so.

Now im unsure of what I should do

I want to be golden
